I have always loved crafting from being very small, watching my older sisters making paper rosettes. Then creating my very own and advancing to designing paper flower bouquets for gifts. As I got older, I furthered my creative journey making unique greeting cards. When I was working full time I found making the cards very therapeutic, I needed something to help me relax and take my mind away from every day worries.

I decided to focus on my children and 6 years ago the artistic fever returned. My creative mind was sparked with the idea of making handmade crayons and photos printed on wood. I shared my creations and there was so much support and encouragement. I started attending craft events and sharing my creations with a wider audience on Facebook.

I decided to leave my job of 20 years to pursue my passions and two years ago Kells 2 Craftie was born and I have never looked back. I love working from home as I can work around my family needs.

I now design and put vinyl on to perspex, wood and much more. I’m just in the midst of setting an Etsy shop.
